Charming 2-piece porcelain set, both hand-painted with pansies and trimmed in gold. The divided relish/serving tray features three sections with a central gilt handle; the matching low candy/vanity bowl has an ornate openwork (reticulated) rim finished in matte gold. Both pieces are artist-signed F. Oenning on the base; the tray is dated 1-1942 (see photos). Lovely for nuts, candies, jewelry, or display. Vintage condition with light age-appropriate wear to the gold; no chips or cracks noted. Approx. sizes: tray ~8–9" diameter; bowl ~6–7" diameter.
