Charming vintage bisque porcelain baby lying on its back with feet up, hand-painted features and soft matte finish. White gown with brushed gold accents; blue eyes and rosy cheeks. Base is stamped with crossed swords over an “A” and the number 1788 (Dresden/Meissen-style maker’s mark; exact maker unknown). No chips or cracks noted; light age/finish wear to the gilt and a few small scuffs from display. Great size for a nursery shelf or vintage décor vignette.
