Bold African-style decorative stool made from a heavy cast composite material (not wood) with a black finish and incised geometric designs. The piece features a curved saddle-style seat over an oval center support and stepped pyramid-style base. Measures approximately 15" wide x 9" tall x 8" deep and weighs about 8 lbs, giving it a substantial, sculptural presence.
The black finish shows noticeable wear, paint loss, scuffs, and chips, especially on the seat and edges where the lighter material shows through (see photos). Despite the cosmetic wear, it’s sturdy and displays well as a tribal-inspired décor piece, low display stand, or plant pedestal.
