A spectacular and highly detailed Chinese rosewood double-opening jewelry chest — a truly unique and functional piece of Asian decorative art. The edges and corners are reinforced with ornate pierced and dotted brass corner fittings in a traditional cloud and ruyi pattern, and the two halves are secured by a brass center clasp.
