Part of Avon's beloved annual Mother's Day collector plate series, this 1982 edition features the charming illustration titled “Little Things Mean A Lot” — a rosy-cheeked boy in a straw hat and patched overalls holding a bouquet of white daisies, with an adorable beagle puppy trotting alongside him through a sunny daisy field. The title arcs across the top in flowing red script, with “Mother's Day 1982” in matching script below.
The white porcelain body is set against a warm yellow vignette center and finished with a bright gold rim — the classic Avon 5" miniature plate format that made these annual releases so popular with collectors throughout the 1970s and 80s. The Avon backstamp appears on the reverse.
