Classic round bas-relief wall plaque depicting a serene mother with child. Signed A. Santangela at the front with additional script and MCMLXXXIV (1984) inscription. Cast in an ivory/almond resin with lovely drapery and floral detail; finished with a small metal loop on the back for hanging (remnant of an old label also on back). Approx. 8.5" diameter, low-profile relief. Condition is vintage: light surface scuffs, a few small marks/toning from age and display; no chips or cracks noted. Presents beautifully in a traditional or Victorian décor.
