Vintage 1946 Grosset & Dunlap “Illustrated Junior Library” edition of Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe, illustrated by noted artist Lynd Ward. Hardcover with original illustrated dust jacket. Jacket shows noticeable wear with creasing, edge tears, and some staining; boards have edge wear. Binding is a bit loose at the gutter (see photos), but pages are intact with legible text and charming black-and-white illustrations throughout. A solid reading copy and nice mid-century collectible edition of this classic adventure novel.
